Program Details

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu organized a seminar “LDC Graduation Process of Bangladesh: Learning for Nepal” in collaboration with Institute of Strategic and Socio-Economic Research (ISSR).

The speakers at the seminar highlighted the rapid socio-economic development of Bangladesh and its historic achievement of graduating from an LDC into a Middle-Income Country and also pointed out the various areas from where Nepal could learn and benefit from Bangladesh’s experience.

The objectives of this seminar:

  • to share the LDC graduation process of Bangladesh
  • to discuss on the challenges and opportunities that Bangladesh may face after graduation
